Daniel del Pielago has been collecting music in the vinyl format for over 20 years. His music selection represents his Peruvian immigrant roots and his interest in building collective power in communities of color. For the past 15 years, Daniel has worked as a community organizer to preserve public education and tenant rights in Washington, DC. Currently, Daniel hosts a radio show on WPFW 89.3 FM in Washington, DC titled PA’ LANTE. The show bridges music of the Latinx diaspora and the issues that affect the Latinx community in Washington, DC.
