Wiena Lin
Wiena Lin is an artist focused our relationship with materialism, environmental sustainability and technology.
By documenting fleeting moments of time from our future through physical artifacts and relics, her work explores themes of imperialism, The Singularity and the Anthopocene. She is inspired by ethnic cultures devoid of industrialization and by hunter gatherer technology in comparison to contemporary consumer behavior and our age of explosive innovation.
Wiena Lin has a BA from Georgetown University in Fine Arts and English Literature. She is an Art Director and Marketing Strategist with expertise in New Technology and Immersive Installation. She strives to create stunning sensory experiences in the physical world by extending the expressiveness of fine arts and design via new technological mediums, and relentlessly pursues new tools to communicate ideas in the most impactful mediums for the message.
