NOW Live from the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center

Hi! My name is Priya Parrotta, and I have been interning with the APA Program for the past three months. I am a rising sophomore at Brown University, and I am planning on majoring in International Relations.

I’ve been spending most of my time at the Smithsonian doing historical research for HomeSpun, and my findings will, hopefully, make their way onto the initiative’s website.

I have also been writing biweekly posts for the Indian American Story blog. So far, I have written two pieces: “Indoricua” and “Team Diversity?” (and look out for a new one soon!).

In my free time, I enjoy writing, singing, practicing yoga/meditation, and spending time with family and friends. Enjoy the newsletter!
