New HomeSpun Coordinator joins APA Program
The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program (APAP) would like to welcome our new HomeSpun project coordinator Suchin Adhlakha. Suchin served as the president of the DC Chapter of NetSAP (Network of South Asian Professionals), the largest South Asian professional organization in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the APAP, Suchin served as marketing and sales coordinator for Overture Technologies, a software company located in Bethesda, MD. Suchin graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business.
“I want to bring value to this groundbreaking effort by leveraging my experience as an Indian American, business person, and community leader,” said Suchin, when asked what he would like to bring to HomeSpun. “This initiative must be a success. The Indian Americans have never presented their story in a unified and concise manner to popular America. That is why I signed up.”
In his role as the coordinator, Suchin will be working closely with donors, Smithsonian partners, and the existing volunteer team to prepare for the launch of the project.
This initiative must be a success. The Indian Americans have never presented their story in a unified and concise manner to popular America. Happy very much!
