As a Myanmar-born, U.S.- and British-educated, Myanmar-returned resident with a perfect American accent, Pyae Pyae unabashedly explores her \u201climinality &#8230; the place that I\u2019d been occupying my whole life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Once the \u201clone mythical Myanmar unicorn in every writing space I attended,\u201d she claims her own expanse in this vivacious debut nonfiction collection showcasing wise-beyond-her-years insight (she\u2019s 25 in her first essay), biting impatience, and plenty of unfiltered humor.
