Wealthy Claire \u2013 breathily voiced by relative newbie Cassie Simone \u2013 arrives from Shanghai as a so-called \u201cparachute,\u201d an unaccompanied Chinese child who \u201cdrops in\u201d seeking a U.S. education. Scholarship student Dani \u2013 solidly embodied by veteran Karissa Vacker \u2013 helps her Filipina American single mother clean houses.<\/p>\n<p>Claire is assigned to Dani\u2019s home by the placement agency, but the two share little in common.
