Layla has just returned from NYC to her extended family after a gone-viral-via-social-media break-up with yet another cheating boyfriend that also got her fired. Sam is a corporate downsizing expert who quit his surgical residency after his sister Nisha was left paralyzed by her abusive \u2013 but untouchably high-power \u2013 ex-husband; years later, he\u2019s still nursing his crushed savior complex: How can he help others when he wasn\u2019t able to save even his own little sister? Spooked by Nisha\u2019s near-fatal arranged union, Sam \u2013 despite their animosity \u2013 can\u2019t let Layla interview her father\u2019s chosen spousal candidates alone.<\/p>\n

Let the marriage game begin. Never mind that it\u2019s predictable, overwritten, with side-plots galore \u2013 Nankani always delivers a frothy confection with energetic, entertaining aplomb.<\/p>\n
