03 Nov / Robot Stories and More Screenplays by Greg Pak, foreword by David Henry Hwang [in AsianWeek]

Robot StoriesIf you loved his films, check out the screenplays for more detailed nuance. Undoubtedly, Pak is one of the most original, talented, imaginative young filmmakers out there.

Review: “New and Notable Books,” AsianWeek, November 3, 2005

Tidbit: Greg Pak was a fabulous guest during the Smithsonian’s Korean American Centennial Commemmoration in 2003. He appeared on Thursday, April 10, 2003 for “Three Filmmakers,” together with Christine Choy (Who Killed Vincent Chin?) and Grace Lee (Barrier Device, The Grace Lee Project). We got to screen Robot Stories, as well as the over-the-top-hysterical Asian Pride Porn (click on title and you, too, can see it!), starring none other than David Henry Hwang himself.
