I’m the author of Pa Lia’s First Day, which was inspired by the Hmong girls who were my daughter’s friends when we lived in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pa Lia appears in all 4 Jackson Friends books, and is also the “pov” of the last book, Stinky Stern Forever.”

How wonderful to have the author comment! And to know that Pa Lia’s story goes on, too! She must have had some grand adventures since she made her debut in 2005.

Thanks so much for sharing the additional information!

      Come visit again soon, too!
