08 Oct / If You Are Afraid of Heights by Raj Kamal Jha [in AsianWeek]

Jha compFrom the author of the devastating The Blue Bedspread comes another stunning, multilevel novel of human suffering and uneasy hope. The unique opening addresses the reader directly to look at the cover – as beautiful as it is – and narrates not only what is presented there but fills in all that is not visible, “a few things you cannot see.” Read this one soonest. Undoubtedly one of the best of the year.
