18 Mar / Homegrown House by Janet S. Wong, illustrated by E.B. Lewis [in Bloomsbury Review]

Homegrown HouseWhile Grandmom has had only two houses in her 65 years – and 40 years to make her current house “homegrown” – a little 8-year-old girl already has lived in three. Now that she’s made five best friends and finally put her bookshelf in alphabetical order, she feels like she’s finally settling in. So while her parents dream about the next move to somewhere sleeker and bigger, the determined little girl gets busy with lessons learned from Grandmom in making their house into a place homegrown, too.
