Asian American LEAD (AALEAD) was founded in 1998 by Sandy Dang to serve the growing Vietnamese American refugee population in the greater D.C. area. Over the years, the non-profit organization expanded to serve the larger Asian American population, and eventually to serve an array of local communities of color. In this chapter, Dang speaks with George Che, a recent AALEAD Youth Council Ambassador, about AALEAD\u2019s 25+ years of community service and why interracial solidarity remains at the core of its mission.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
